You can discover the beaches of Barneville-Carteret, awarded each year by The Blue Flag of Europe. Our beaches are known for the high quality of their bathing waters.
Enjoy three beautiful beaches that offer excellent playgrounds for sunbathing, or take a bracing swim. You can also go fishing for small green crabs, beach volleyball and beach soccer. There is something for everyone when you stay at our Cotentin campsite by the sea.
- The beach of Barneville: large and family, it is monitored from July 1 to August 31. A beach club welcomes your children for fun!
- The beach of Carteret: facing south and sheltered by the cliff, it is also monitored in high season.
- The beach of the old church: you will find it north of Cap de Carteret. Wild and immense, she remains unsupervised. It is a privileged place and adopted by lovers of water sports and sliding.
A wide choice of water sports is offered to the sportsmen and the amateurs of sensations, whether beginners or confirmed: sailing, surfing, diving, sand yachting, windsurfing, kitesurf, speed-sail, kayak and rowing of sea.
